Finished Dragons of the Hourglass Mage yesterday and well....I dont know it was good but I was expecting somthing more. It kind of left me with the feeling of "thats it? thats all?" you know? The final showdown between Fistandantilus and Raistlin was great but the ending was anticlimactic. Even though it was all Raistlin it didnt realy thrill me. And I cannot belive that I am saying that after reading an entire book about no one but Raistlin. Somthing is wrong there.

I've now started The Firemaster's Mistress by Christie Dickason. Its a historical fiction about the Fifth of November and the assasination attempt upon the lives of the king of England and the members of parliment.

"If Edward is a boy why does he sparkle like a princess in a tyara?"(SNL)

"Stepheanie Meyer's Edward and friends are NOT vampires. They are Sparklepire's" (SatyrPhil Brucato, writer for Realms of Fantasy mag)

Just finished Book 13 of the Wheel of Time

Very well-structred, good plot, intresting characters, and a suspensful story. It takes a little while to get started though. Youi would like it, DM.

Dorian Gray is one of my favorites. Oscar Wilde is the King of Wit.

I have been reading A Song of Ice and Fire for the upteenth time in anticipation of the HBO series. I have also started reading "All the Pretty Horses" by Cormac McCarthy.

In responce to Dark Mage post from May 2010...

I got my hands on Dragons Of The Hourglass Mage out here in Afghanistan, and started to read it. I got most of it down, but... as you said I was getting the feeling of "Thats it?" I know I have to finish it. If others read this book first then read other things that may end up good! But as it stands, we have seen the lives and events that Raistlin was involved in to say "Indeed, we did expect more." But something scared me about reading this book.

Will Magaret Wies and Tracy Hickman wrote more? I don't know what the news is. Help me out on this. But I will say this.... I am working on my own stories, because as much as I loved reading these books, I want there to be someone else in the world to be the next R.A. Salvatore or Weis and Hickman. And I hope that it can be me. I just have to wait and see.

Far as I know Dragons of the Hourglass Mage is the last Dragonlance book and Wies and Hickman will be writteing. They had a large argument with Wizards of the Coast and their contract was terminated or somthing like that.

I'm an author too. Check out the Music of Darkness thread. That is my first book and the other two in the serise are finished too
