SOOOOOO Excited to be watching the premiere of The Hobbit a week from now!!!!!!

"Raistlin!" It was Crysania's voice. Lifting his gaze, he saw her standing before him, holding his hands away from his face, her eyes wide and filled with concern.
"I'm all right", Raistlin said coldly. "Leave me alone!" But, even as he spoke, he sighed and lowered his head again, shuddering as the horror of the dream washed over him. Pulling a clean cloth from a pocket, he began to dab at the wounds on his face.
"No, you're not", Crysania murmured, taking the cloth from his shaking hands and gently touching the bleeding gouges. "Please, let me do this", she said, as he snarled something unintelligible. "I know you wont let me heal you, but there is a clear stream near. Come, drink some water, rest and let me wash these".
Sharp, bitter words were on Raistlin's lips. He raised a hand to thrust her away. But then he realized he didn't want her to leave. The darkness of the dream receded when she was with him. The touch of warm, human flesh was comforting after the cold fingers of death.
And so, he nodded with a weary sigh.

The same here, but I think I'll wait a week or two. To try to avoid the crowd....

That's a good idea if you're in a bigger city, but my town is soooooo small that I think it'll be alright. My friends and I have had our tickets for like a month now just because we wanted to make sure that we'd get right in there. It's one of my obsessions, and, yes, you may laugh, but we are all dressing up...

Ah, that's swell. How can life be fulfilled without doing so at some point? I couldn't imagine my life without these so-called "dorky" things...It could have been so boring.

I've seen some seriously fantastic looking costumes on people at the conventions. And I really do not care what other folks say, it is cool.

I have the same opinion on the matter; why should I care if I'm enjoying my life? My costume was really supposed to be aimed at being Thorin Oakenshield, but I am lacking critical pieces...so I pull off more of just a general dwarf look, which is alright.

I live between two big cities, but I'd need to go to one of them to see "The Hobbit" in IMAX

I only do that for special movies, the last ones were 'Star Trek', 'Iron Man 2', 'Avatar' and 'The Hunger Games'

I too am looking forward to this movie dispite the director changes and the questionable decision to make it into three movies instead of one. Should be good anyway I suppose. Might be going to see it with a few friends on New Years Eve similar to what we did with Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows last year.

That will be about the time I go see it. I will try like a Wednesday or so. To keep the crowd low
