**The old man paused for a moment so that this event would sink into his audience**
"It was a weapon similar to no, it wasn't. Actually it was no, it wasn't that either. It was closer to... almost a... rather it was sort of a lance, that's it! A lance! And it was quite good against dragons."

"While the villagers were making ready for the young woman to die, suddenly a small globe of light came down from the heavens toward them and the woman. Everyone was frighten but none moved a muscle. It had a slight aqua color to it and it came to rest on the gaping wound of the young woman. The wound vanished, then the globe of light moved to the woman's head as it did so everyone hear a voice of a female.
"Because of her bravery, courage and sacrifice of herself to save you and your village... this young lady will not expire"
All were astonished of this occurrence and this gift that was given to the woman"

"The light then vanished and a few minuets later the young woman's eyes opened. As she saw everyone all around her she had a perplex look upon her face.
"You have been healed by one of our deities for your bravery"
Said one of her close friends of the knights.
"Then is is over"
She queried and stated at the same time.
"Yes"
He replied as he held out his hand to her to get up"
**The Old man gazed at his audience for a reaction**

**The large Minotaur indicated the vendor and gave Lance some silver**

"As I have said before Sir Kalas, my stories are based on real facts and events. I change them a little to protect the people that were involved"
