After reading these books, it really has changed the way I want to actually write myself. I started writing as a hobby years ago, and chruned out an almost complete novel (length wise), my grammar was terrible and it needs major editing but I started writing it almost 10 years ago. Saved the file and then a few years ago started back into it. Saved it and it has been shelved ever since. After reading these books it really makes me want to go back and finish what I started and revise it. That book is more science fiction but I don't know the more I read the more i get inspired. I have another book I starter about 3 or 4 years ago called Oriane, which has similarities to Dragonlance which strikes me as funny because when i was writing that book I had never read Dragonlance before.....Anyway love this series and the fans of it all seem great!!
I too am very glad to hear that, all of it. Dragonlance inpired me to get into writeing too. I have a three part serise finished and ready for publishing just as soon as I can catch my big break. You can read about them in the Music of Darkness thread.
